Hoda Negin (CEO/Founder)

As a mother of 2 and the CEO of Mama Juice Co., Hoda is no stranger to the perils of busy Mom life.

Prior to becoming a Mom, Hoda was an avid gym enthusiast, understood the importance of living a healthy life style and incorporated that into her professional and personal life. Her experience in the medical environment helped her better understand the importance of taking care of yourself.

As a mom, she continues to do what she can in order to provide a health focused home to her family but the activity of life, often makes this a challenge. The fact that Hoda lives this practice every single day, is why she desires to share her dream and passion through Mama Juice Co. She claims, "Mom life gets crazy, and we tend to forget about our own well being as Mothers. What we forget is that we need our fuel, too!" After having children, Hoda dealt with some challenges such as Iron deficiency and a drastic drop in energy. Hoda's goal is to help other Mamas gain the daily vitamins and minerals their bodies require in easy to consume, delicious vitamin and mineral enriched Cold-Pressed juices!

Shannon Smith (Dietitian)

Shannon Smith is a Registered Dietitian who is a big proponent of supporting people’ s nutrition needs with a real food approach that’ s rooted in science. Shannon graduated with honours from UBC’ s Food Nutrition and Health program, and completed her dietetic internship with Vancouver Coastal Health. She is registered with the BC College of Dietitians, and is a member of Dietitians of Canada.  

As a a self-described food nerd, she loves experimenting with unique flavour and food combinations. Playing with different juice mixtures was way too much fun for Shannon; the best part was watching people’s faces as they tasted fresh cucumber or raspberry juices. 

Shannon enjoys using her knowledge of nutrition to demystify the fact and fiction surrounding food. She believes nutrition is a powerful tool to support disease prevention and lifelong health. Healthy food doesn't need to be complicated – it can be simple and delicious and starts with fresh, lowly-processed ingredients.
